The Slipway reconstruction is now complete with four vertical arm boat cradles provided and a new haulage winch system installed. The new facilities allow the boats to be taken out of the water and held in a safe working environment on the slipway. The new slipping system is now operational and early reports are that it is working very well. An official opening ceremony took place on Friday 29 August 2009.
